It was with great pleasure that I attended, on behalf of Buffalo Thorn Lodge, these prestigious awards at The Bay Hotel, Camps Bay in Cape Town. The ceremony was a momentous occasion, and far bigger than I expected. The event was attended by over 250 guests plus a few celebrities.
We are so proud to announce that Buffalo Thorn Lodge received a Certificate of Acknowledgement declaring that it has been awarded the title of “Sanlam Top Destination 2018” in the category “Game Reserve – 5 STAR”. We also received a prestigious Sanlam exclusive award of a lady holding a pedestal with the details of the award in the dome on top.
Buffalo Thorn received the most votes out of all the 13 400 establishments entered into the competition. We would like to thank each and every one of our guests for your loyal support and votes.
Pictures of the Lodge were shown on all the screens whilst I was on the stage receiving the awards. This is great publicity for us and a huge credit to everybody involved in the Lodge, especially our great team and dedicated staff for this great achievement.
