What a great week of sightings on Black Rhino Game Reserve. It all started with us planning on going to the central Pilansberg on and extended drive but this did not play out as planned:
As we drove at the lodge gate we found the herd of Buffalo, while watching the herd of buffalo we saw a big male elephant walking down the road towards u. So being bush law abiding citizens we gave him space and waited until he moved past us.
WOW nothing like getting up close to natures giants.
Still on our Mission on going to the centre Pilansberg, we headed east towards the beginning of the wilderness area and as luck may have it there, they were, the MAGNIFICENT BEAST OF THE BUSH, a Big male Lion and his Lioness lying in the grass not more than 50m from the road.
Not knowing if it could get any better? Out of nowhere a male buffalo appeared and chased the lions No one excepted this to happen, and so no-one was able to get their camera ready to take some photos of this great interaction.
