As winter creeps near, there’s already a cold snap in the air. But that didn’t stop us from having a fantastic month in the bush.
The sightings have been fantastic as our guests at Buffalo Thorn lodge got to see the big and the small and managed on a few occasions to find the big 5 in one drive. The cheetahs Rain and her 2 youngsters have been on Black Rhino the whole month of April.
We even had the Lengau pride of lions on Black Rhino for about 4 days, the Pride consists of 3 full grown females, 3 Sub adults and 3 younsters. The coalition that fathered the cubs are also 2 which means the pride is currently at 11.
