We recently celebrated my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary at the Lodge and it was a real treat for them. They love the bush and go at least once a year to the Kruger. So having this exclusive camp to ourselves, was something special, which they will never forget. I am already planning my Dad’s 80th in 2018.

For our 50th wedding anniversary, our son and daughter-in-law surprised us with a wonderful present – a weekend at Buffalo Thorn Lodge with family and friends.
We arrived there and were very impressed with the beautiful setup and accommodation. We went on game drives and the game ranger was so very knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. To sit at night around the fire was an unforgettable experience.
The weekend went much too quickly but we will not forget our anniversary at this special place.
